Volunteer for AIDS Walk Boston and 5K Run

Volunteer with the 27th AIDS Walk Boston and 5K Run!!!

When: Sunday, June 3rd
Where: DCR Hatch Memorial Shell Charles River Esplanade in Boston
Time: 7am-2pm (Volunteer shifts vary)

Every year since 1986 our community has gathered on the first Sunday in June for AIDS Walk Boston, an annual grassroots community event benefiting AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, New England’s largest and oldest AIDS service organization.

Volunteering for AIDS Walk Boston is a great way to both support the fight against AIDS and also have some fun!  Each year, AIDS Action Committee relies on hundreds of volunteers to help serve the 15,000+ attendees that participate in the Walk and the Larry Kessler 5K Run.

AIDS Action Committee is looking for talented, dedicated and energetic individuals to fill the following volunteer positions:
·         Pre-Event Office Support
·         Course Marshals
·         Crowd Control
·         Finish Area Volunteers
·         Registration Volunteers
·         Run Volunteers
·         Cheerleaders
·         Post Event Office Support
·         Special Skill Areas: Truck/Van Drivers and Photographers

Register today by visiting www.aidswalkboston.org and clicking here to sign up! Questions? For more information about volunteering for the 2012 AIDS Walk Boston and 5K Run, please contact Ashley Boyd at 617.450.1506 or aboyd@aac.org.
