The Civic Engagement Team at City Year Boston will be hosting a service event on June 11th at the Richard J. Murphy Elementary School in Dorchester. The service day will include painting a community themed mural on one side of a 300 ft wall, then an interactive mural on the other side. The Mighty Murphy is one of the biggest schools in Boston and is surrounded by a vibrant and supportive community. The volunteer registration will begin at 9:00, and then the service will start at 9:30. Lunch will be provided at 12, then service will wrap up at around 2:30.
